‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ trailer: Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and fighting

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is going to return to Bravo on Sunday, June 2 with all new episodes, and based on the show’s first season 5 trailer, there is one thing that we can say with a reasonable amount of confidence: There is still no peace between some of the members of this massive group of family and “friends.”

Let’s start things off with some good news, mostly because we do not want to sit here and project a constant imagery of doom and gloom: After a year stuffed full of fighting and near-constant feuds, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are going to at least try and get along a little bit more. As for whether or not it is going to work, the jury’s still out. There are moments of hope in the trailer, as we see the women try to work together on a few occasions and even collectively deal with tragedy and heartache. However, there is also a moment where Melissa screams at Teresa while pleading to fix their family, and one of Teresa’s daughters pretends to be Melissa while dancing on a pole. (We can’t imagine she will like that.)

To make matters even more dramatic this season, the men are going to come to blows, Kathy Wakile will get emotional, and Caroline Manzo will start to question whether or not Teresa was speaking the truth about Melissa when she said that there is so much more to Melissa than she was seeing. We expect this to be more of the same, but there will also be moments of peace as the women try to work together in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
