‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 finale spoilers: Nina Dobrev shares graduation photo

Are you ready for the next chapter to arrive on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4? Let’s hope so, since the episode entitled “Graduation” will be here before you know it. May 16 will be the last time we see Elena and the Salvatores until September and October, and it is going to cause all of the characters to ponder some very important questions while looking forward to their future.

For Nina Dobrev’s Elena, for example, the question will be rather simple: what does she want to do with the rest of her life? While being a vampire may be exciting and free, it certainly doesn’t pay the bills. Therefore, she has to transition into something, whether it is college or some sort of career. While most of her post-graduation plans are still unclear, at least the actress was kind enough to share one of the first photos of the ceremony in action on her WhoSay page. It certainly looks as though the outdoor ceremony could be a moment of great celebration, and this is actually one of the first times that we have rooted for a major “Vampire Diaries” event that does not end up in disaster.

Of course, the saddest thing about this ceremony for Elena is that she really does not have anyone to be in the audience for her save for maybe Damon and Stefan, who may only be there as insurance if she threatens to kill someone. Her parents, Alaric, Jenna, and Jeremy are just some of the people close to her that have fallen into the abyss, and we’re almost surprised that she is not dealt more sympathy by most of the town’s residents.
