ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: First look at ‘The Human Factor’

Castle

“Castle” is definitely not straying from touchy subjects these days. Even though there is an episode coming up that will feature Beckett being stuck in an extremely difficult situation involving a bomb (which you can watch a preview for over at the link here), and there will be another one airing a little later this season that takes things to another level.

The episode that we are talking about here is entitled “The Human Factor,” and it will air on Monday, May 6. Based on the synopsis alone, it sounds like something that is going to have some serious political implications to go along with what are actually two mysteries at one time (a little bit of a welcome change for the show):

“When Homeland Security inexplicably seals the crime scene of a car bombing, Castle and Beckett find themselves with two mysteries on their hands: who murdered the victim, a government whistleblower, and why are federal agents trying to take over the case? The plot thickens when they discover that the victim wasn’t killed by a car bomb but by a missile from a military drone.”

No matter what happens when it comes to the show, you can expect the events from this hour to in many ways bleed directly into what is coming up in the upcoming finale and you have to be enthused about the intense direction the show is heading.
