First teasers: ‘Shameless’ season 4 and ‘House of Lies’ season 3

Did you enjoy the finales for both “Shameless” and “House of Lies,” and are you a little bit anxious to find out what happens next? Well, let’s just hope that you are the patient type right now, since you’re going to be waiting for quite a while in order for either show to grace your television set again. We’re getting set to embark on a pretty lengthy hiatus for both series, and while the teasers for the shows below don’t give you an exact premiere date, we know already that neither will return to Showtime for more until next year. (We’re likely looking at January again, pending some sort of last-second change.)

Of course, there is no new footage for either one of the shows below, but the real reason for that may simply be that neither have even started to film their new seasons yet. As a matter of fact, who knows what is going to happen here?

In terms of general scoop, all we can see is that the Gallaghers will be entering a new phase of their lives when “Shameless” season 4 picks up, and when it comes to “House of Lies” season 3, we will hopefully have an opportunity to see what happens when Marty really works to set up his own firm and be the king of his own castle for the first time in really the entire series’ run (since he has always had to answer to someone else on some level).
