‘Jersey Shore’ alum Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley heads to ‘One Life to Live’ revival
Even though “Jersey Shore” is now strictly in the annals of reality TV history (and we have hardly heard from some of its stars ever since the series finale), Jenni “JWoww” Farley and her pal Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi have found a way to somewhat stay in the spotlight. After all, they each do have “Snooki & JWoww” on the air, and now, one of them is looking to dive headfirst into the world of soap-opera acting.
The upcoming revival of “One Life to Live” has announced that for an upcoming episode of the show, JWoww will be stopping by to play the role of Nikki, who is a bartender at the nightclub owned by Blair in Shelter. It’s not clear just how big of a role this will be for the reality star, but it is something that could open up a new career path if she does receive rave reviews from the show’s producers.
After over a year of uncertainty, the series is returning to iTunes and Hulu via The Online Network on April 29, and you will have an opportunity to check things out on Hulu, Hulu Plus, and also iTunes. It’s an ambitious new way to watch daytime dramas, and the extra year in which it took to make this transition may have been for the best. After all, tablets are now more omnipresent that they have ever been, and we have a feeling that the show’s dedicated following will be a little more capable of finding the series and watching its 30-minute episodes daily.
What do you think about JWoww getting this chance? If you want to read more on the series’ revival online, you can do so by heading on over to the link here.
