AMC’s ‘Freakshow’, episode 5 review: Amazing Ali gets married!

On tonight’s episode of “Freakshow” Amazing Ali tells the group that her boyfriend, Matt, proposed and everyone couldn’t be happier for her.  Todd is hoping that she will want to do it up big with the Freakshow, but she’s not sure that she wants to do that, because her and her man get a lot of attention that is sometimes negative and she’s nervous about that happening on her wedding day. After Todd talks to her and tells her how special he would make it for her she decides that she does want to do it through the Freakshow.

When Ali goes to the fitting of her wedding dress, she admits that she was afraid that she was never going to get married since life growing up wasn’t always easy for her – to us though it’s not surprising that someone was smart enough to land Ali: she’s intelligent, funny and totally beautiful.  When Ali sees her wedding dress, she couldn’t be happier with it and when she puts it on she is stunning making all the women tear up.

On the day of the wedding, the entire Freakshow family is pitching in to make sure the day goes off without a hitch.  At the wedding there are thousands of people outside waiting to witness the nuptials and when Ali finally comes into sight, Matt is blow away at how incredible she looks. Todd officiates the ceremony for Ali and Matt and the wedding works out just the way Ali dreamed it would.  Afterwards there is a big celebration inside the Freakshow with dancing, tearful speeches, and the most incredible cake ever.
