‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Enter ‘Welcome to Storybrooke’

If there is one episode of “Once Upon a Time” that we have been looking forward to from pretty much the moment that it was pitched onward, it would be “Welcome to Stroybrooke.” Why? This is the episode that is really going to take you inside some of the origins of the famous Maine town, where you can learn about just what happened in those first few minutes where the characters were brought over, and how the learned to coexist within this environment. This is going to be an interesting one, especially since it has already been revealed that Jamie Dorman is going to be reprising his role as Sheriff Graham.

Sadly, the promo below for the episode does not really give us a sense of any of this. Instead, it chooses to case the vast majority of its focus on the storyline revolving around what happens next between Regina and Mary Margaret. It was definitely a stunning moment to see the “heroic” woman of the series succumb to her dark side and put the wheels in motion that led to Cora’s death, and Regina is not going to be pleased about it.

Just how ugly is this going to get? Well, expect her to revert back into her season 1 mode of being completely evil almost all of the time. Regina resented Snow before after taking her chance of love away from her, and now she will do so even more over killing one of the few people who, while manipulative, cared for her daughter on some level.
