‘The Mindy Project’ spoilers: ‘American Horror Story’ alum takes role as…
Chloe Sevigny is turning out to be rather busy these days. She is coming off of a memorable arc on “American Horror Story: Asylum” as one of Dr. Arthur Arden’s most-terrifying creations, and she also has a lead on the A&E pilot entitled “Those Who Kill,” which will hopefully find a little bit more about soon.
So what is next for right in the immediate future? As it turns out, an arc on the just-renewed Fox comedy “The Mindy Project.” According to a new report from TVLine, Sevigny will be appearing in multiple episodes as the ex-wife of Chris Messina’s Danny. This will be a welcome return to comedy for the actress, who is probably still best known for some of the work that she did on the hit USA series “Big Love.”
While “The Mindy Project” has not exactly generated huge ratings for Fox despite the renewal, Mindy Kaling has done an outstanding job of lining up some big-name guest stars. Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper, and B.J. Novak are just three of her former “Office” co-stars who have made guest appearances on the show, and you can also add one Seth Rogen to this list.
The show will continue to air new episodes on Tuesday nights through the spring, and then shift to Mondays as a part of what is a very bizarre decision by Fox to put their own shows against CBS’ already-popular Monday block. Hopefully, Sevigny’s casting will give the show an opportunity to be talked about for at least a few more minutes until that time.
