‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: World war Tom
There had been teasers in the “Big Brother Canada” house for weeks about there being a potential party, and on Monday night it arrived in the form of not only food that everyone was allowed to eat, but booze. Yes, we all know when contestants are allowed to partake in alcohol while on a television show: very, very bad things happen.
Specifically, the name of the game this time was Tom continuing to prove that he is a pretty terrible human being, at least when it comes to using homophobic slurs and other nasty language that is degrading to pretty much everyone except for maybe straight men. (Then again, he also makes straight men look bad, so it’s degrading to them, too.) Production allegedly told him to cool it on some of his language, and if this is true, we don’t know what necessarily to think. There’s a part of us that applauds the show for putting a stop to it, but at the same time there is also a part of us that wishes that this guy could have continued to make himself look like a horrible human being just so he could see just how much hatred and negativity there is waiting for him on the other side. Sometimes, people with this kind of ego really do need a wake-up call.
There is not too much game talk happening Monday night, just hilarity: Andrew appeared on the live feeds for the first time and forever, and he and Gary had a drunken conversation that involved silly hats, but actually turned out to be meaningful as Gary told a story about coming out to his dad. (Emmett listened to half of it before rudely walking away.) Danielle’s also a very entertaining drunk, and while we didn’t catch this while at happened, Joker’s is saying that after a conversation with Gary, she decided to put hot chocolate on one of Tom’s cardigans before hanging it up.
Strategy-wise, it’s still a toss up as to who ends up leaving the game. Some of the guys have given Aneal a little bit of hope through the logic that he would not put them on the block as easily as Danielle would, but it’s too early to tell if they can get the numbers together.
