‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: NeNe Leakes returns to form

This has been a rather tricky year thus far for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” mostly because there is no worse timeslot for the month of February than on Sundays. You’re going to be preempted at least twice for the Oscars and the Super Bowl, and this can even stretch to three times if you also want to keep your show off for the Grammys. (Bravo did air a new episode of the show that night, however.)

Luckily, Sunday night is going to feature the return of the famous ladies to the small screen, and they are going to be taking a few minutes away from Atlanta to enjoy life in the glamorous New York City. Unfortunately, being at the same place where NeNe Leakes is filming “The New Normal” does not mean that we are going to be in store for a comedy at all; rather, NeNe is going to have an ax to grind with some of the ladies, and it is going to turn into a few situations that will bring to mind some of her previous exploits on the show.

“The ladies are Los Angeles bound and this time they leave the men at home. NeNe’s excited about showing them her glamorous life in Hollywood, but when the girls arrive they just aren’t on the same page. NeNe’s temper explodes, and none of the ladies are left unscathed. As they aim to get back on track with NeNe, Kenya can’t contain herself anymore in front of her rivals Phaedra and Porsha. Will the dust settle before they head to Vegas the next morning?”
