‘Homeland’ season 3: Where you can find Damian Lewis, Claire Danes next
For all of you out there hoping to catch more “Homeland” season 3 scoop, we now have some more news as to the next place you will have some opportunities to check it out: and it will be on Sunday night.
If you check out TNT, the network will be broadcasting as usual their annual Screen Actors Guild Awards to recognize some of the best performances of the year. Both Damian Lewis and Claire Danes are expected to win awards in their respective drama categories; and not only that, but Lewis is also going to be a presenter along with the likes of Jessica Chastain, Sally Field, and John Goodman.
The scoop on the show will possibly come on the awards show’s red carpet, which is in some ways at least a little bit more relaxed than the Golden Globes. There is not as much attention on the SAG Awards from the public (even though the significance is still high), and thus there are more opportunities for conversation between the stars and journalists instead of a public frenzy at every twist and turn. (Let’s hope that E! gets rid of that ridiculous manicure camera at some point, too.)
From a logical standpoint, it is also possible that there will be a little bit more information to share now than there was a week and a half ago, as the writers have only started now to band together to discuss possibilities for the hit drama. Their first big news was getting the word out that Diego Klattenhoff was not going to be returning as Mike for season 3, and they have also confirmed that Lewis will indeed return as Nicholas Brody despite the character fleeing America for the season finale.
Production on “Homeland” season 3 will start up in North Carolina this coming May, with the show finally returning to the air on September 29 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
