‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, ‘Scandal’ season 2 to return with extras on Twitter
Just in case you need yet another reason to be excited about the return of some of your favorite Shonda Rhimes’ shows on ABC next week, we have some good news to announce today: if you are media-savvy, you will appreciate having the opportunity to tweet along with some of the actors as the story is progressing. (To think, remember when all actors did was just film their parts and call it a day?)
While these details are still subject to change based on availability and some other factors, here are the performers currently slated to be taking to Twitter for some live chats during the east-coast airings of some of your favorite shows next week.
“Private Practice” (January 8, 10:00 p.m.) – Caterina Scorsone, @caterinatweets
“Grey’s Anatomy” (January 10, 9:00 p.m.) – Jessica Capshaw, @JessicaCapshaw
“Scandal” (January 10, 10:00 p.m.) – Multiple cast members will be participating, but at the moment there is no confirmation who. Our suggestion is just to follow Guillermo Diaz, since he’s doing some great work in this episode and should be a valuable voice to hear from regardless of if he live-tweets or not.
Although “Private Practice” is ending its run after six seasons later this month, both “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy” are still going strong, with the former show in particular amassing an increasingly large audience week after week at the moment. If it continues along at this rate, it is possible that we could see the show all but guaranteed a season 3 in the future.
