‘Revenge’ season 2: Why is Aiden holding a [spoiler]?

For those of you who love “Revenge,” odds are that you are probably feeling rather excited right about now. Season 2 of the ABC drama is only days away from returning to ABC, but rather than hand out details on an episode airing Sunday that we already know is about Victoria’s attempts to set up Daniel back with Emily (with an ulterior motive, of course), instead have some new scoop that takes a look ahead a few weeks to the installment entitled “Collusion” airing on Sunday, January 20.

Before we do anything else, let’s start things off by sharing the official synopsis that was just released courtesy of the network:

“With Emily by his side, Daniel goes toe to toe with his fiercest business rival, Jason Prosser, to land an important deal that Victoria is determined to block. Aiden takes a very dark turn, and Jack and Amanda’s future lands in the unlikely hands of Conrad Grayson.”

Now, let’s present some proof that Aiden is in fact taking a “dark turn,” one that happens to involve the business end of a gun. What in the world is he doing? Barry Sloane’s character looks to be sniping out someone, and if he takes a turn for the worse, this could lead to bad news for just about everyone involved … including Emily. While the two clearly have a past together, there are still some questions that must be asked here, including just how much a guy like this can really be trusted considering how long he was not a part of her life.
