‘Glee’ season 4, episode 11 preview: Major spoilers on Darren Criss, Cory Monteith
Want to know some big scoop on what is coming up on “Glee” season 4 in the new year? Luckily, we have just that courtesy of a pair of new synopses released by Fox, which give us a rather delectable taste of the story moving forward for the hit Fox musical … and yes, it includes everything from school dances to people taking off their clothes.
As for some other interesting highlights, it looks as though New Directions may have found a way to still compete in future competitions this year, and Kurt is going to finally have someone else to talk to in New York City save for his roommate Rachel and Isabelle over at Vogue.com, where is future is now very much up in the air.
Episode 4.11, “Sadie Hawkins Dance” – “McKinley’s Sadie Hawkins dance offers several gleeks a rare chance to feel empowered. Sam and Blaine investigate a possible cheating scandal at Sectionals. Kurt makes a new friend at NYADA.”
Episode 4.12, “Naked” – “New Directions produces a sexy calendar to raise money for their trip to Regionals. Rachel is faced with a personal dilemma when she’s cast in a student film. Finn and Sue go toe-to-toe.”
We don’t want to bury the lead in here, so let’s star things off here with the obvious: that somehow, New Directions will be off to regionals yet again; and strangely, we don’t like it. As sad as it was to see the glee club lose, it opened the door for all of these new storytelling possibilities that are now lost by the show presenting us the same sort of story we have seen for the past few years. There is only so many times you can see such a competition and have it still be interesting. Oh, and does anyone else find it awkward that teenage students are making a “sexy calendar”?
What has you the most interested (or surprised) within these episode descriptions? We want to hear from you below, and you can also check out the latest promotional poster for the show (featuring Sue Sylvester) over here.

HURRY! One of you creators of Glee, if it’s not asking too much, could someone please give the character “Marley” a personality? She’s allegedly the new “Rachel” in season 4 (Marley), but she doesn’t have a personality, At least with Rachel, she made mistakes, made some not good choices and had a strong personality; you either loved her or hated here, but you always rooted for Rachel and cared about her. Even if you didn’t like her. But Marley is just plain boring (although she can sing, but her talent as a singer doesn’t make up for her lack of a personality).
But, as long as Glee keeps ‘Blaine” singing and dancing, I’ll keep watching. I’ll record it, then fast forward thru each episode just to watch him. I haven’t seen anyone as talented as Darren Criss is, in literally decades. He’s got incredible comedic timing, you can’t take your eyes off of him when he’s singing and dancing and the guy can act! Keep him front and center and I’ll continue watching Glee. I’ve seen some of his interviews and he’s pretty funny, but he also is kind of a dork in real life, but with his talent, who cares! Hes captivating!

Your post is rather rambling and confused. Who is “that guy in New York who is an idiot…pr blunders.. and who passed his chemistry test”? What/who are you talking about?
And you might want to reference WHO Jessica Sanchez is to be, since she has not yet been on the show (supposedly will be introduced as Finn’s new love interest). I don’t know her, so I”ll wait and see.
So far, I’ve been very happy with 3 of the 10 episoes and liked another 3 pretty well. The others were just OK; they centered mostly in Lima and the new kids, who are only starting to engage me a bit. While Marley by herself doesn’t strike any sparks, I do like her chemistry with Wade/Unique and have enjoyed their numbers/segments, as well as the “I Need A Hero” with the evil Kitty. Becca Tobin seems to be a very good performer, but we’ve already had the blonde cheerleader whose personality was a revolving door (and yes, Dianna Agron is wonderful). I do like the Blaine/Sam friendship – yes, straight guys and gay guys can be buddies.
I’d been hoping for more NYC time, since it’s more relevant for me; I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in high school, and like Kurt and Rachel’s chemistry, as well as Colfer and MIchele as performers. Looking forward to seeing Kurt at NYADA and a new love interest and how that affects his re-friendship with Blaine; very glad for the branching off there. And I’d very much like for more of the vets t owork their way to NYC; Mike in ballet? (he’s got Broadway dance moves) and Mercedes? Santana’s heading that way, which is good; Quinn can visit and they can do the frien-emy bipolar thing they do so well :) Love Naya’s pipes and her new video with 2cellos, “Supermassive Black Hole.”

Sounds like (again) there is nothing at all to tempt me to watch this show any longer. The show does not live up to its own hype of inclusiveness, due to the incredibly mean-spirited tone of the scripts. It’s impossible to get attached to any of the characters, because there is little continuity in their personalities, which the writers appear to change on a mere whim to fit whatever inane scene they are writing for any given episode. Without question, there are talented singers on the show, but the musical arrangements are uninspired, the production values are rather poor this year. Maybe the scripts are so poor because they select songs for the performers and then try unsuccessfully to write around them. In any event, a frustrating yawn that sounds like it will continue on the same path for the rest of this season..

Hey Carter yet again you miss the boat on what the problem with glee is. This show has gone downhill faster that an Italian luxury liner. I will say this one last time the so called successful storyline is just not interesting to me because it made a mockery of the principals that this show was suppose to have been all about. Lea Michele is playing herself and the more Ryan just writes her autobiography the less appealing the show becomes. If the only reason you watch the show is to hear the music, you can stop watching because glee is giving the music away before the espisode even airs. I feel that the writing on this show has gone downhill and that is to be expected on any show that grows older, but the main problem is that every character has been destroyed or changed to the point where you just stop watching. Finn is the best example of the problem with glee, the writers kept saying all season 3 do not worry finn will get a direction well here we are half way through season 4 and if this is the big dream of finn to be a lima loser who helps his high school glee club then I did waste my time on this show. The next two episodes will not have any significant Finn growth at all and to mention his one scene in order to try and get people to watch these episodes is sick simply put finn fans do not need to watch the next 2 to 4 episodes of glee at all. Jessica Sanchez cannot act and her involvement on this show is disgusting and feels like a crossover stunt with american idol. That guy in the new york storyline is an idiot and no amount of fox spinning his pr blunders will change my mind but hey he passed a chemistry test whatever that meant. Glee has too many characters being given air time that I do not care about and they do not deserve but hey according to you and all the people that promote this show they will get a 5 season anyway so why are you bothering asking for any one to comment because who cares. Happy new year anyway I know you are just doing the job you have to do. I hope Finn gets back into performing espically if the acting storyline from saturday night gleever comes back and maybe we can get someone other than ryans pets get a guest star to work with that you know can act.
