‘Gossip Girl’ season 6, episode 9 preview: Is Chuck [spoiler]?

Just in case you thought that “Gossip Girl” season 6 was not dramatic enough, you may as well add this to the equation now: a potential loss of life for one of the leading characters. We have heard for weeks now that the penultimate episode of the show was going to feature a crash that could turn deadly; and now, we know just who one of the people on board the plane is.

Did Blair have some sort of premonition that this plane carrying Chuck was destined to go off the grid? It’s possible that this was the case, or she had some other motivating for trying to stop him (as evidenced in the first preview for the episode below). All we can really say for now is that she did everything in her power to try and keep him from getting on board the jet, but he seemed to do so anyway.

So is Chuck really in danger of being dead? (Spoiler alert!) As we shared recently, photos from the series finale show Chuck not only alive, but seemingly also tying the not with the very woman in Blair who he has been trying so hard to get together with all season long. We’re taking this as a sign that one way or another, he was finally able to get the giant monkey off of his back known as Bart Bass and move forward with his life. (Anything that gets rid of Bart at this point will make us happy.)
