‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season 3 premiere review: They’re at it again…
The best installment in “The Real Housewives” franchise is back, and Monday night’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 5 premiere really did just about everything that you could possibly ask for as a fan. There was drama, there was a new face in Yolanda Foster, and there was also Kyle Richards getting a Maserati. Yes, that happened. This show is what makes Occupy Wall Street cry.
Season premieres for these shows are always a little bit awkward to watch, mostly thanks to the sole fact that it is like getting to know your old friends again. Kim Richards was out of rehab for a month, Lisa Vanderpump had moved away from where Adrienne Maloof lives, and Brandi Glanville is now more or less her new BFFs among the cast.
The most interesting part of this episode was really getting the opportunity to know Foster, which came mostly via a party that Lisa threw in an attempt to introduce her to some of the ladies. For some reason, Brandi took this as an opportunity to proclaim that she has been with everyone in the town, and the look on our newbie’s face was almost as though someone told her Christmas was canceled. Good look, Yolanda: there are going to be some “Real Housewives” hazing rituals ahead for you. Brandi also took advantage of the opportunity to get into it with the Richards sisters yet again, which suggests that for at least the early portion of season 3, it is going to at least feel like season 2 all over again.
What did you think about the season 3 premiere?
