Is Batwoman new tonight on The CW? A look at upcoming stories
The bad news is simple: For the first time since the premiere, there is no new Batwoman coming on the air. With that in mind, we better be patient for the next seven days or so … and the waiting will be worth it. The December 1 episode is going to kick off an exciting two weeks for the newest show in the Arrowverse. Not only are we going to have a proper midseason finale here, but then also the epic crossover even that has been years in the making in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Odds are, it’s going to be quite fun to see how Kate works her way into that story.
Just in case you don’t want to wait to get some news on these two installments, rest assured that we’ve got all of that below! Note that there are some spoilers ahead … even if they are authorized by the network…
December 1, “A Man Tea-Party” – “AND THE AWARD GOES TO – Kate (Ruby Rose) and Alice (Rachel Skarsten) continue their sister/nemesis dance, while Alice and Mouse (guest star Sam Littlefield) construct their most evil plan yet. Mary (Nicole Kang) invites Kate to a special event honoring Catherine (Elizabeth Anweis) and Jacob (Dougray Scott) makes a decision that leaves Kate perplexed. Meagan Tandy and Camrus Johnson also star. Holly Dale directed the episode written by Nancy Kiu (#109). Original airdate 12/1/2019. Every episode of BATWOMAN will be available to stream on CWTV.com and The CW App the day after broadcast for free and without a subscription, log-in or authentication required.”
December 9, “Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Two” – “CAN THE REAL CLARK KENT PLEASE STAND UP? PART TWO OF CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS CONTINUES WITH SPECIAL GUEST STARS TOM WELLING, ERICA DURANCE AND KEVIN CONROY – The group uses Ray’s (guest star Brandon Routh) invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett) sends Iris (guest star Candice Patton), Clark (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (guest star Elizabeth Tulloch) in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate (Ruby Rose) and Kara (guest star Melissa Benoist) head out to find Bruce Wayne (guest star Kevin Conroy). In addition, Mia (guest star Katherine McNamara) challenges Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Rory (guest star Dominic Purcell) discovers a hidden talent, and Lex Luthor (guest star Jon Cryer) returns. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Don Whitehead and Holly Henderson (#108). Original airdate 12/9/2019. Every episode of BATWOMAN will be available to stream on CWTV.com and The CW App the day after broadcast for free and without a subscription, log-in or authentication required.”
We’re honestly not sure just how much of Batwoman’s cast you’re actually going to see in part 2, but we do have a feeling that it will be entertaining nonetheless. Also, Kate’s going to have a chance to see a lot of interactions with characters she either barely knows or doesn’t know at all.
