NCIS: New Orleans season 6 episode 6 spoilers: Lasalle’s search for answers

This episode (entitled “Matthew 5:9” is going to be all about Lasalle hunting down people responsible for the crime — and it could lead towards he and Pride both finding a specific subject named Eddie Barrett. If he’s not the one responsible, there’s a good chance he may know who is!

“Matthew 5:9” – Lasalle hopes to avenge his brother’s murder by tracking a drug ring in Alabama he believes is responsible. Also, when Pride assists with the case, he crosses paths with Eddie Barrett (Eddie Cahill), an elusive individual who knows more than he is sharing, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Nov. 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
No matter where this story ends up going, let’s just make this clear: We’re happy that NCIS: New Orleans is giving the time to ensure that Lasalle’s story is told and told properly. We are speaking here about one of the most-important people within the world of this show, and after it felt like his role was somewhat minimized last season, it’s nice to see him front and center for a chunk of the story here.
As almost all of you out there likely guessed, “Matthew 5:9” is a reference to a Bible Verse. According to the King James version of scripture, it reads “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” How will that translate into the actual episode? That remains to be seen, given that we don’t think that Lasalle is really going to be in the mood all that much for peace. He’s going to do whatever he can to get answers, no matter what the consequence may be.
