Black Lightning season 3 episode 4 spoilers: New trouble in Freeland
When you are a superhero, at least one on The CW, it’s abundantly clear that it’s a step forward, followed with a step back. You can climb one mountain but then, on the other side of it, you’ve got more. Jefferson’s going to realize that things are even worse than he once thought within this episode. To go along with this, you’re also going to see Jennifer try to figure out how to bounce back after a setback.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Black Lightning season 3 episode 4 synopsis with some other news on what’s next:
CHALLENGES ABOUND – Jefferson (Cress Williams) faces new challenges due to the shocking state of Freeland. Lynn (Christine Adams) finds herself under intense pressure as she desperately tries to find a solution to the continuing crisis in Freeland. Meanwhile, Anissa (Nafessa Williams) continues her work at the clinic. Lastly, Jennifer (China-Anne McLain) finds her confidence shaken. The episode was written by Adam Giaudrone and directed Mary Lou Belli (#304). Original airdate 10/28/2019.
So what are we building towards this season? We’re hoping for some opportunities to see more of Jefferson’s family working together. To go along with that, we’re also crossing our fingers that there will be a few chances in order to see some exciting adversaries.
Yes, we do know that there are some big moments coming for Jefferson — after all, Crisis on Infinite Earths is coming, and we at least know that the title character is going to be a part of that. As to whether or not that ends up impacting this show down the road, that remains to be seen … but it is something worth keeping in the back of your brain. Yet, don’t allow it to distract too much from anything going on in the present.
