SWAT season 2 episode 4 spoilers: Deacon’s family in danger

SWAT season 2 episode 4 next week is a story that is largely about family … but not in the way that you would want. We were hoping for some happier stories where our leads could get away from the stress of the job, but that is not happening. Instead, what we’re getting here is a case of stress on the job and stress at home intersecting. That is especially the case when it comes to Deacon, whose family will be in a dire situation.

Often, the SWAT team works to help complete strangers; this time around, they are also going to be forced to help one of their own. For more news on this, including a personal story for Hondo at the same time, be sure to check out the official SWAT season 2 episode 4 synopsis:

“Immunity” – Deacon’s family gets caught in the crosshairs of a drug cartel when he and the SWAT team aim to bring down its leader, a former foreign rebel force leader running drugs in plain sight via a local flower market. Also, Hondo receives troubling news regarding his father, and Tan is forced to go before an internal review board due to his girlfriend’s indiscretion, on S.W.A.T., Wednesday, Oct. 23 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We’re worried about Hondo, mostly in that this is a man that could eventually break down. He went through so much with his family last season and now, things are not slowing down in the slightest. The guy’s got a lot on his plate and quite frankly, he needs a break. It just remains to be seen if he is going to get one, whether it be now or some other point down the road.

Beyond the story, let’s also just hope that some more viewers navigate over to SWAT on Wednesday night. Last week’s episode generated some of the lowest ratings we’ve seen for the series yet and it needs to have a solid, strong audience to get itself a season 4.
