Empire season 6 episode 4 preview: ‘Tell the Truth’ & family reunions

Empire season 6 episode 4 is set to come on October 15, and it’s an episode that could offer some happiness. Yet, we’ve been around the Empire block for long enough to know that a lot of joy within the world of the show is fleeting … especially when Lucious Lyon has a tendency to torpedo much of everything when it comes to the world of Empire Entertainment.

The happiness that we could see temporarily within this episode comes via a family reunion — remember how most family reunions end? Badly, and that is almost sure to be the case here, as well. This is an episode that will showcase problems for the family members and, at the same time, all sorts of struggles for the family, as well.

A happy family occasion brings the Lyon family back together, but it becomes apparent that no one seems to see eye-to-eye. Lucious, unhappy with how Empire and the Empire movie are progressing, springs into action and comes face-to-face with demons from his past. Meanwhile, Cookie reaches her breaking point and considers seeking help and Andre encourages Tiana to smooth over the controversy she created for the company in the all-new “Tell the Truth” episode of EMPIRE airing Tuesday, Oct.15 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. This episode could bring some characters on the road to actually being happy, as opposed to finding some element of temporary joy. Cookie may be able to work on herself, for example, and that means getting a chance to find some joy in the simpler things in life.

For those who are not aware, this episode of Empire will be the last one for at least the next couple of weeks — potentially, it could even be the last one in the month of October. Because of the World Series, the show could be off the air both on October 22 and October 29 … though it could take a good bit of time in order to get there.
