Chicago PD season 7 episode 2 spoilers: Atwater’s dangerous mission
When it comes to the season 7 premiere, we know that a big chunk of the story is going to be all about trying to come to grips with the exit of Antonio and also what happened to Kelton. Maybe some of those stories will carry over to episode 2 — but we know that at least one will from season 6 in what transpired with Ruzek. There is a good bit more that is going to be explored within there.

Based on what we know about Chicago PD season 7 episode 2, we’re going to see a pretty powerful story for Atwater, one that seems to be somewhat separate from any major story we’ve seen so far.
Curious to get a few more details now on what’s ahead? Then we suggest that you go ahead and check out the full Chicago PD season 7 episode 2 synopsis below:
10/02/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : When Atwater goes undercover in a dangerous South Side drug syndicate, he learns there may be more to its kingpin than meets the eye. Halstead tries to join Atwater undercover, but finds himself at a disadvantage. Voight petitions the brass to show Ruzek leniency in his court case.
One of the things that we’re going to be especially curious to check out on this upcoming season is simply this: How are some of the cast members going to adjust with Antonio leaving the show? For characters like Atwater and Halstead, it’s going to mean more opportunities for each one of them to command the spotlight a little bit. All of the leads could be relied on a little bit more but, in the end, we don’t foresee Chicago PD changing itself to become something totally different.
