God Friended Me season 2 episode 2 spoilers: The Paris story continues

For anyone thinking that Cara’s stay in Paris on God Friended Me was going to be a one-episode trip, we come bearing good news! You’re going to see that character in France for a little bit longer than that … or at least until we get around to the end of episode 2. After that, horizons are a little bit more unclear.

Within this upcoming episode (entitled “The Lady”), one of the things that you are going to see is Cara find a way to both work on her new book while also hunt down more information on the God Account overseas. Is it coincidental that there could be something more about in Paris? Sure, but you may as well take advantage of the scenery if you are the producers. Why not throw some of this out there as much as you possibly can?

“The Lady” – As Miles wonders what the God Account has in store for him, he and Rakesh help Joy (Jessica Lu) with her new friend suggestion, Teddy (Bryan Greenberg), an aspiring self-help guru. Also, Cara follows a God Account-related lead in Paris, and Ali reveals to Arthur that she’s left Harlem Episcopal for a progressive LGBTQ-friendly congregation, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Oct. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Scenes from the episode were filmed on location in Paris.

Is this show one that is about faith? Maybe on some level, but it’s also about curiosity. At this point, we imagine that Rakesh, Miles, and Cara all feel like the God Account is out there with positive intentions. It’s seemingly not out to cause a whole lot of problems, but you still want to figure out why it exists and what the end goal is. In life, we all want questions to life’s great mysteries … and we’re interested in seeing what is going to come up as this team tries their best to gather clues.
