Who should come back?: Tony (NCIS), Thea (Arrow), Barba (SVU) & more (Poll)
Ultimately, this is what this entire CarterMatt poll series for the month of September is all about! Within this article, we have six different characters who are missed by many on their respective shows. At the end of the article, there’s a poll for you to vote for who you’d love to see back! The two characters with the most votes will move on to the next round. The only real criteria we have is that these characters are not currently series regulars on their former shows — and they are still among the living.
Voting rules – Vote however often you’d like! This poll will remain open until Sunday, September 15 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time. The second round will begin on Monday, September 16. (For more voting instructions or technical questions, check out the bottom of this article.)
Rafael Barba, Law & Order: SVU – Barba’s exit was sad in that in a sea of great ADAs to be featured on the long-running show, he was one of the best. Sure, there was his commitment to justice, but he also had a memorable relationship with Olivia Benson.
Tony DiNozzo, NCIS – There has always been a desire to see Tony back within the world of this show again. Yet, at the same time that drive is there now more than ever with Ziva coming back! Michael Weatherly may be busy with Bull, but anything is still possible. He still seems open!
Thea Queen, Arrow – It’s been a while now since Willa Holland first decided to depart the series and to this day, we’ve been wondering what this character was up to. Even with Colton Haynes (Roy) as a series regular last year, we still didn’t get a chance to see her — though it seemed like there were plenty of golden opportunities to bring her back.
Maggie Rhee, The Walking Dead – There’s reason for hope that we could see Lauren Cohan on the AMC series again, following her time on Whiskey Cavalier. There have been discussions about possible storylines for a while, and it definitely feels like there are some significant comic-book stories left to tell.
Catherine Rollins, Hawaii Five-0 – Since her departure as a series regular, Michelle Borth has made some occasional appearances on the CBS show. Is there still a chance for her to have a larger role, whether it be as a member of the team or a part of Steve McGarrett’s life?
Rachel Zane, Suits – Out of all of the characters on this list, it’s easiest to file this one away into “never gonna happen” territory. Meghan Markle is quite busy being a part of the British Royal Family, and with that, we’re probably left more hoping for a mention or two of Rachel rather than a specific appearance from her in the flesh.
Now, let’s turn this over to you

I can’t see the poll; what do I do? – If you are on mobile, scroll to the bottom of the page and click to view the non-AMP version. If that does not work, give the poll a moment to load! On some mobile browsers, it may take a moment.
How can I vote more than once? – If you are having trouble casting multiple votes, try switching your browser, your device, or visiting the page under private browsing or incognito mode. There should be many handy guides online explaining how to do so if interested.
