Pearson episode 9 preview: The last before the big finale

Pearson

Want to know what’s coming up on Pearson episode 9? It’s obviously clear that this is a huge episode — after all, we’re talking about the penultimate one of the season! It could also be the penultimate one of the series, given that the future fate of the Gina Torres-led series is at the moment far from certain. We hope that there will be more info out there on the subject by the time we get to the finale, but we also recognize that there are no guarantees.

The title for Pearson episode 9 is entitled “The Rival,” and over the course of this hour we’re going to have a chance to see Jessica face more obstacles — but the same goes for every single character on this show! This is where everyone needs to make some big decisions when it comes to their future — Chicago politics are not for everyone, and we wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up seeing some characters decide that they want no part in this.

Below, CarterMatt has the official Pearson episode 9 synopsis with some more news in regards to what’s coming up next:

Angela leads a tent city outside of City Hall; Keri thinks more about her future; McGann recovers Nick.

The Keri storyline is the one that we think that has the most staying power moving into the finale, and for a number of different reasons. For one, she’s been through a lot already, and we also don’t think that she can make a decision on her future in just one week. Her status could end up being one of the possible cliffhangers at the end of the season … though there are some other surprises that the writers could have in store for us. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
