Yellowstone season 3 spoilers: Eden Brolin set to play Mia
For the sake of today’s article, CarterMatt is bringing you some news on a new character named Mia. According to Deadline, Eden Brolin (Beyond) has been booked for this role, described as a “barrel racer at the rodeo who becomes friendly with the bunkhouse guys.” For those unfamiliar with the world of barrel racing, it revolves around a horse and rider attempting to complete a course around barrels within a short period of time. The one with the fastest time wins. It makes sense for Yellowstone to spotlight this event given that they’ve already featured the rodeo with some regularity. Think about some of what we’ve seen already on the second season with Jimmy.
The bunkhouse environment is a constantly changing one at the ranch, which feels appropriate just because it’s the sort of job that not everyone would want forever. You’re away from some of your friends and family, you’re working crazy hours at times, and Yellowstone in particular has shown itself to be a dangerous place. It does have some fantastic characters and we imagine that this is going to be the case once more entering the third season. In general, we have a feeling that this is going to be a very personal season for some of the characters coming up. Season 2 got very big, bloody, and dramatic; from here, we wouldn’t be surprised if the show opted to scale back a little bit and focus on some of the relationships moving into season 3.
Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait to see the Yellowstone season 3 premiere until next year — most likely in the summer. (Fun fact: Eden Brolin is the daughter of actor Josh Brolin.)
