The Affair season 5 episode 3 preview: Helen and Sasha’s next move
Is it possible that Sasha Mann is the person to make Helen feel better? It’s a hard question to get much of a clear answer to, largely because it remains unclear if anyone can make her feel better. She’s suffering, even still months past the death of Vik. He does understand loss, and he also understands Helen on a strange level. He’s playing a variation of Noah for his movie. Does that mean that he is really there for her, or is he trying to connect with her still on a project? This is a question that we still have a lot of questions about and, odds are, we will continue to have questions about it for some time moving forward. This is a show where second-guessing, insecurity, and ulterior motives have to be constantly questioned. In a lot of ways, it is written into the DNA of the larger universe.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the full The Affair season 5 episode 3 synopsis with some other news all about what’s coming:
Sasha proposes adjustments to Noah’s script; Sasha’s relationship with Helen blossoms; Bruce’s condition worsens; Joanie’s business trip leads to violent encounters.
Is this episode going to be one where we genuinely get more of Joanie? It took a long time in order to get to her story tonight, which was bizarre and brought you stories of a talking toilet and her embarking on a journey that brought her to Montauk. Within this episode, perhaps we see more of the fruits of some of that labor … but some difficult ones at the same time.
