Manifest season 2 teaser reveals spring 2020 premiere date
In honor of the day, the NBC series has released a new teaser, one that raises many questions about the passengers of the flight, especially as they find themselves back in familiar territory. It’s the words of Cal that ring true at the tail end of the promo (which CarterMatt has for you to check out below) — “save the passengers.” This should be a theme for the new season, alongside taking a look at the ever-evolving lives of these people as they discover more and more about themselves.
Manifest season 1 proved to be one of the most immersive shows on network TV last fall, and it also showed itself to be one of NBC’s most captivating hits. Unfortunately, we’re stuck waiting a long time now to see what happens and it’s feels even longer with that cliffhanger! The network proclaims that the series is returning in the spring, which makes a March premiere date more than likely. If we had to look into a metaphorical crystal ball here, we would not be altogether shocked if the series comes back on Sundays after the NFL season is over. This is a night that NBC has been looking to bolster for years on end now and they’ve had a hard time finding solid performers to put there. Manifest could be that show for them. Another option is that the series could return it to Mondays and air it after the spring season of The Voice, but we wonder if the performance of new series Bluff City Law could have an impact there?
No matter what is said now, remember that we’re only near the end of August. There are still more than six months to go until Manifest season 2 premieres and there is so much more room here for things to change. Just know that the show is coming back and when it does we know we are in for a crazy ride!
