At the start of the season, it was made fairly clear that John Paul Jones and Derek were going to have some issues, and those are about to come to a boil … and they are going to be all about Tayshia. You see, JPJ isn’t altogether pleased with the idea of Derek getting closer to the woman who he had some feelings for, even though there was some evidence that we’d be seeing things move in this direction. What are we talking about? Think along the lines of Tayshia telling him to pursue other relationships. That is almost always a red flag.
Beyond that, there are some other big events coming — think along the lines of the big nuptials with Chris and Krystal at the center of it! Typically, weddings are wonderful occasions stuffed full of romance and some other interesting stuff at the center of it. However, they also bring out a ton of emotion. Maybe seeing the wedding will inspire some of the couples at the center of Paradise. Yet, there is also a good chance that it will cause division. It’s also going to be interesting when Clay’s ex Angela is down in Mexico for the ceremony — is that going to cause him to push away from Nicole, who he has been with for the bulk of the season? To think, this is without even pondering over what is going on with Dean and Caelynn. He claims that he’s not ready to be in a relationship … so why is he even there? Isn’t that the point of the show?
