Suits season 9 episode 7 return date: Harvey & Samantha’s journey
At the end of tonight’s new episode, Samantha and Harvey agreed to go on a trip together to Pittsburgh so that she can track down her biological father. This was something she hesitated to do given the recent tension between the two of them. We know that Samantha has been wanting a family more than almost anything else in her life, and this is an opportunity to have that. The unfortunate thing is this — a lot of times, there are reasons why a biological parent chooses to give up on raising their child. They may have serious issues of their own or trauma that could be dumped on those seeking them out. This could be a disaster for Samantha — we like to think that Suits is a hopeful show, but we know better than to think anything is guaranteed.

As you can see, Suits isn’t giving you too much more information beyond the Harvey/Samantha story, but know this — Faye Richardson is still in power as Special Master. Donna also has kept the firm together for now, and ensured that people will not go after her. Unless there is a new loophole or twist within the story, it’s possible that we could be in a situation here where Faye is just going to be around for some time. That may not be the sort of thing that everyone out there wants to hear, but it could be the reality of life at the firm for the time being. Eventually, we do want her gone — especially by the series finale so that the writers can focus on other things.
Here’s now your sad, sobering reminder that there are only four more episodes for Suits as a series. Then, it’s all over and we’re left to think over the show’s legacy.
