Fuller House season 5: More filming + a tiny tease for what’s coming
If you head over to Candace Cameron Bure’s Instagram Stories now, you can see a tiny piece of what was filmed today — a scene where DJ comes in from a jog. There’s a baby stroller also featured, which gives you a sense that not too much time has passed following the end of season 4. There’s a short little piece of dialogue and that’s it — there are no major spoilers, but it’s some signature Fuller House humor about how “everything” is better than being stuck going on a job. (Note that since this is an Instagram Story, it’s probably not going to be up for longer than 24 hours at most — if you’re going to watch, watch quickly.)
To go along with this tease, you can also see a post of the crowd outside the studio — something that Andrea Barber posts every week as a part of her Fuller House tradition. Candace mentioned on her Instagram that the episode that is being filmed today is a big one — so go ahead and be excited for some great stuff before the end of the final season arrives. The cast and crew aren’t filming the series finale yet (presuming that they are filming the episodes in order), but they’ll be doing that before too much longer.
This is probably the point in season 5 filming where every single thing starts to get a little more emotional, as the cast and crew all realize that before long, the series finale will be here and everyone is facing the reality of having to move forward to other things. Because some of these cast members have already done another show in Full House as these characters, maybe that will help … as will knowing that they can all remain friends after. We don’t think anyone is suddenly going to disappear into a puff of smoke the moment that the series finale wraps, once and for all.
The final season of Fuller House is hopefully going to premiere later on in 2020.
