The Loudest Voice episode 6 preview: The 2016 campaign
This episode is going to present a lot of content when it comes to Carlson and what she’s doing in order to take Ailes down, but that’s not the only key part of this story that matters. You’re also going to have a chance, over the course of this, to see what he does to try and set up a Presidential candidate for success — and to build his network’s power even more. That person is Donald Trump, an easy choice given his familiarity with the network already and the number of times that he has appeared on it over the years.
Want a few more details? Below, CarterMatt offers up the official The Loudest Voice episode 6 synopsis with more news as to what’s coming up:
Gretchen Carlson has been secretly taping Roger’s harassment for over a year and is working with a lawyer specializing in sexual harassment. Roger goes all in to achieve his goal of electing a president, and he finds the perfect candidate in Donald Trump.
Within this episode, you will see some of these events come to a fever pitch as we get closer to the fateful 2016 election. In some ways, it does feel strange to see events that are so recent documented on a show like this. Yet, at the same time for some, it may feel as though these events are decades away at this point. The news cycle now moves so fast that you don’t have all that much of a chance to get a few words in edgewise.
We’re almost at the end of the road for this series — especially since Ailes died in 2017. There is not too much more of his story to tell.
