Queen of the South season 4 episode 9: Will Teresa leave New Orleans?

Moving into Queen of the South season 4 episode 9, is Teresa going to make a life-changing decision? It kind of feels that way right now, based on some early details that are out there via USA. For the better part of this season so far, we have seen this character try to make a home for herself in New Orleans after being so nomadic … and battling so many opponents.

New Orleans is the sort of place that felt like it could be good for her criminal empire. For starters, it’s an excellent port city, there’s so much going on (and with that, it’s easy to be undetectable), and it feels stuffed to the brim with interesting connections.

Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worst, and Teresa is now left a question herself in ways that she hasn’t before. While she may be a criminal, she does still have a code that she likes to follow. If she’s going to stick around, there is a good chance that this code will end up being broken. Queen of the South season 4 episode 9 is entitled “Los Pecados de los Padres” (“The Sins of the Fathers”), and over the course of this, you’re going to see some interesting twists and turns. It’s hard exactly to imagine where Teresa’s future will take her on the other side.

Where will we go from here? That’s a big part of our excitement for this episode. Queen of the South season 4 episode 9 may be offering a gateway to a completely different endgame for this season. It may take Teresa somewhere new, and force her to meet all sorts of new characters that bleed into a possible season 5. There’s something kind of exciting about that freedom! (We don’t know, granted, if there is going to be a season 5, but it’s fairly easy to be hopeful at the moment. The ratings merit it.)
