Instinct season 2 episode 3 preview: The story of ‘Finders Keepers’
If you’re looking for a relatable story in this episode, you don’t have to look far. As a matter of fact, this may be one of the most human of any of the episodes Instinct has put on the air in the past year and a half. Custody battles are difficult things and they’re far from the sort of thing any parent wants to deal with … and they are even worse when the kid at the center of them ends up going off away from home. That’s at the forefront of this episode, as Lizzie and Dylan have to do what they can in order to find them. Along the way, this is a case that will bring back memories from Lizzie’s past, ones that we imagine she previously stored pretty far back within the recesses of her head.
If you want a few more details, we suggest that you take a look at the Instinct season 2 episode 3 synopsis now:
“Finders Keepers” – Lizzie and Dylan work a case that provokes deep emotions for them when a 9-year-old boy goes missing on the eve of a judge’s decision in a bitter custody battle. Also, with Dylan’s help, Lizzie confronts some of her past childhood demons, and a major advancement presents itself in Dylan and Andy’s adoption search, on INSTINCT, Sunday, July 14 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Within this episode, we would imagine that there would be closure on at least a few stories — most notably, getting a chance to see what Lizzie is struggling with in regards to her past. With that being said, we’re not sure that we will get a whole lot of closure to what’s happening with Dylan and Andy, given that this feels like something that will last for the bulk of the season. It makes more sense for this struggle to not be resolved quickly.
