Queen of the South season 4 episode 4 preview: A turf war

Next week on Queen of the South season 4 episode 4, you’re going to have a chance to see Teresa continue to do what she can to find some control — and then also maintain it! It’s a hard thing to do in a place like New Orleans, one that within the world of the show is run afoul with all sorts of criminal enterprises. There are obviously a lot of people who already have claim on various parts of the criminal empire, which is probably why there are some rather-annoyed people in regards to Teresa’s presence. She’s coming into spot with people who already think that they’ve got it all figured out!

Here’s what we’ve come to learn already about Teresa in New Orleans, though, and it’s the sort of stuff that may be upsetting some other folks there — she’s found a way to deliver some of the goods better! Her technique of liquifying the product gives her a big advantage over many of her rivals and she’s not afraid to exploit that to the fullest. We just hope that she’s got not only the people around her to handle what’s coming her way, but also the shrewdness in which she can go about it.

While Javier and Boaz deal with a personal problem, Teresa gets involved in a deadly turf war.

Clearly, the show’s not giving you too much in the way of finer details, but this gives you a pretty good sense that there’s a lot of troublesome stuff coming up for all of the show’s characters. The good news is that more than likely, we’re going to Teresa survive all of this. Of course, survival is only one part of the battle here — it’s also about persevering, building that head of steam and understanding precisely what’s going to be coming up for you at every single opportunity.

It feels like there’s been a lot that’s happened already this season, but here’s the crazy thing — we’re still very much in the early going of this season! There’s still a whole lot of great stuff a-coming and what we’ve seen so far is really just scratching the surface of all of the different head-turning moments that could be coming up as the story keeps chugging along.
