Last Man Standing season 7 episode 22 (finale) spoilers: More Mike advice
The season 7 finale for the comedy is (fittingly) titled “A Moving finale” and within this, you’re going to have a chance to see some change hit the Baxter family. Mandy and Kyle will be preparing to take the next step in life, as hard as that may be. This is where Mike could come into play — we don’t exactly think that he’s going to shove them out the door, but he may make it clear to them that at some point, they have to brace for whatever the world brings. They can’t be protected within these walls forever, though they could always come home. This is at least our view of how this story could go — think of it as almost Boy Meets World and Last Man Standing having a mental fusion for the finale. Last Man Standing Couple Meets World, if you will. This is a meaningful storyline just because the idea of a kid moving away is always tough, even though in this place, moving out may not equal moving far away.

When Mandy and Kyle are hesitant to move out of the Baxter household and into their own place, Mike gives them some tough love. Meanwhile Ed and Chuck try to avoid contributing to Boyd’s theater fundraiser in the all-new “A Moving Finale” season finale episode of LAST MAN STANDING airing Friday, May 10 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (LMS-722) (TV-PG D, L)
One more detail worth noting here is that for this “moving finale,” you will see Kaitlyn Dever move her way back on-screen as Eve — a fitting way to conclude the show. It’s a way to ensure that even more of the Baxter family is clued-in, and she can certainly offer her own perspective to Mandy about the current state of her life. (If nothing else, we think that Eve’s got plenty of experience being away from Mike and Vanessa — in between all the heroic stuff she’s doing working to serve our country.)
