SEAL Team season 2 episode 17 preview: Could someone die?

Next week on SEAL Team season 2 episode 17, you’re going to see something a little bit different play out. We’ve seen Bravo Team be a tad bit more nomadic these days but moving forward, that’s going to change. Like we’ve seen with some other arcs as of late, the team will be a tad more centrally located and concentrated in the Philippines. Following a surprise sequences of events on this past episode, we’re going to see a situation now where they’re going to try and help some local soldiers in need.

Unfortunately, much of what you’re going to see here is another situation where things go from bad to worse.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official SEAL Team season 2 episode 17 synopsis with more insight all about what’s next:

“Paradise Lost” – While Bravo Team is deployed to train Filipino SEALs, a surprise bomb attack in Manila leaves them in peril, Wednesday, April 10 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

So who is in peril this time around? We’ve come to expect within the world of this show that someone different can be in danger almost on any given week. At one point, it’s going to be Jason — it’s already been Sonny this season, and we certainly saw some other life-or-death crises back in season 1. It’s the natural fabric of life with this show, where you’re constantly bobbing, weaving, and trying to figure out a way to survive … and then also make it back home to some of your loved ones at the same time. Even when you get there, there are going to be a number of other problems that still remain and you have to find a way to deal with them.

One more thing that we can say at the moment is simply this: We know that the story is far from over. The events in this attack and what transpire are going to continue to play a very integral role in just about everything that unfolds as we move forward and through at least the episode that immediately follows this one. Beyond that, the jury’s still out, but we wouldn’t be altogether shocked if there was another opportunity to explore some great stuff even with this arc or another one a little bit further down the road. There’s still a good bit of time left in the season! That’s one of the luxuries with the show having such a long hiatus, as terrible as it was in the middle of it.

There is one extremely important thing worth noting — a big explosion is coming. Also, it could put a team member’s life on the line. We’re pretty darn nervous that it is Ray on that stretcher…
