NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 18 preview: After the wedding…
What we think NCIS: Los Angeles is doing that is actually quite smart is delivering an episode that is personal for Nell, a character who hasn’t exactly had that much time in the spotlight as of late. Her sister Sydney is coming back and we know that she can be a little bit intense — for this case though, she’ll be a tad more personal. This is not just some ordinary case that the two sisters are going to work on. It’ll involve someone from Sydney’s past who (of course) ends up becoming some part of a high-level operation.

“Born to Run” – Sydney (Ashley Rae Spillers) turns to her sister Nell for help after her high school crush, Andre Martinez (Delon de Metz), is mixed up in a Russian plot to steal intelligence from the Department of Defense. Also, Special Prosecutor John Rogers (Peter Jacobson) conducts mandatory performance reviews with the team, on NCIS: LOS ANGELES, Sunday, March 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We’re excited about the Nell and Sydney story just because we really don’t know Sydney all that well as a character yet. She’s only made a few appearances to date and there’s a lot about her childhood with Nell and some various personality quirks that are still to be uncovered. As for the performance reviews, doesn’t it feel like we’ve had something like this recently already? How often do these people need to show that they are good at their jobs? For some reason, the federal government appears to be more hesitant in trusting the Los Angeles branch of NCIS than any other law-enforcement agency known to humankind. Sure, they do end up causing some destruction, but don’t they get the job done? Doesn’t that matter to some degree?
