Legacies episode 15 preview: The last before the finale!

As we prepare for Legacies episode 15, the Salvatore School is in peril. TAs a matter of fact, we’d argue that the school is close to ruins. The Miss Mystic Falls Pageant was a nice bit of nostalgia for all longtime fans of The Vampire Diaries, but as it turns out, it didn’t go any better in the present than it did in the past. Because of Hope’s revelations about the dress and so much more, chaos reigned down on the pageant and she has to find a way to turn the tide.

As you would imagine, turning the said tide is not going to be easy. There are a lot of other problems that Hope’s going to have to deal with, whether it be the state of her relationship with Landon or also the various monster problems that this school seems to have … ones that probably are not going away in the near future. In the aftermath of what happened to Josie and Penelope, we also do have an innate curiosity as to what’s going to be going on with Josie now. What is she going to take away from her time with her, and is there a next move for her to make?

SECRETS REVEALED — When the fallout of Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) actions leaves her and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) on the outs, she turns to Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) for help making things right. Meanwhile, Landon uncovers secrets about his past, while Josie (Kaylee Bryant) looks into a secret that Alaric (Matthew Davis) has been keeping. Peyton Alex Smith also stars. Tony Solomons directed the episode written by Thomas Brandon (#115). Original airdate 3/21/2019.

If you’re looking for something a little more definite to come from the promo below, we come bearing some bad news — other than seeing some violence and a monstrous reveal at the end, it doesn’t do much other than generate some hype. This is the best time to really but that giant, red hype button. There are only two episodes left and through those, you’ll get some answers about the current state of the school … and then also a generous tease for what’s next. While it’s likely that Julie Plec and the rest of the team wrote out the finale long before the show was renewed for a season 2, they had to feel confident that was coming. Consider everything we’re saying here as code for this: A big cliffhanger is likely coming. This is the sort of show that thrives on them, and we’ll appreciate it greatly if there is an exciting new way for Legacies to change the game moving into season 2. With a show this creative, they’re best to embrace the inner crazy!
