SWAT season 2 episode 16: ‘Pride’ and the story ahead

Want to get a sense of what’s ahead on both SWAT season 2 episode 16 and beyond? That’s the focus of this piece! We recognize that there are some notable episodes coming up — though, at the same time, there isn’t a heck of a lot of information out there about them just yet.

To be specific, as of this writing CBS has not unveiled anything super-official when it comes to what’s ahead in some of the upcoming episodes, but there are a couple of things worth noting.

The air dates – The next new episode is coming up in just one week’s time, and then, you’ll see the show take a brief one-week break on the other side of that. It will then come back to CBS come March 7. Later on in the month of March, there will probably be a little bit more of a substantial hiatus because of NCAA basketball — for those of you who have been watching CBS a lot over the years, there’s a good chance that you are already familiar with most of the rules.

The episode titles – The title for the next new episode is “Pride,” which makes us think we’re going to see some sort of showcase of the positive aspects of being a SWAT officer. It’s not the easiest job in the world, but there is a sense of community that comes with it. (Update: Our guess was wrong! It actually seems to be about an LGBTQ event.)

Meanwhile, the episode on March 7 carries with it the title of “Jack.” Remember that there are 22 episodes this season as a whole, and that means that there are going to be more stories down the line — we are expecting a particularly notable batch of episodes throughout the spring leading into the finale in May.

If you look below, you do get a small sense of what’s coming next week as SWAT does what it can in order to stop a home-grown terrorist from targeting and attacking members of the LGBTQ community. It’s going to be up to the team to keep the city safe, but the fear here is that there may be more than one attacker. Trying to find all of them, in a short period of time, could be difficult.
