Grey’s Anatomy season 15 spoilers: Kim Raver teases another Owen, Amelia, Teddy twist

Where are things right now with the three of them? Think somewhere along these lines: Amelia and Owen know about Teddy’s pregnancy, and Amelia is suggesting that Owen take time to consider some of his options and what he wants. She wants to be with him, but she wants to make sure that it’s what he really wants after he starts to process all of this information. There’s a real maturity here since she wants to ensure that he is really doing what he thinks is right for him and not just jumping with his heart. There is a lot of different things to consider here.
Of course, things aren’t going to be as simple as what they are right now — there’s going to be another wrinkle added to the mix very soon. In speaking on the subject TVLine, here is some of what Kim Raver had to say about what’s next:
“There’s another fantastic element that gets thrown in … There’s an ‘other person’ element, and it’s fun and funny and complicated. It’s great because it’s quintessential Grey’s Anatomy where it’s not just one layer. We were just shooting a scene that was so uncomfortable and funny and great and wild … On the one hand, I think Teddy wants this child and a romantic relationship with Owen. And on the other hand, she absolutely doesn’t want to break up Amelia and Owen, out of her respect for Amelia. And that’s what’s so cool about this love triangle: It doesn’t pit woman against woman.”
What could this “other person” element that gets added? Maybe Teddy or Amelia end up with another suitor — it’s hard to imagine Owen having another one at the moment in his present circumstance. We definitely think that the writers are setting it up here for things to continue being dramatic for a while, but fingers crossed there’s some sort of resolution by the time Teddy gives birth. This isn’t the sort of thing that really benefits characters going back and forth on forever especially once there’s a baby in the mix.
Given that we’re not even halfway through this season just yet, there’s clearly a lot of time for everything to get even crazier. Be prepared for some of that and we will be with you every step of the way.
