Celebrity Big Brother 2 live feed spoilers: The first HoH revealed!

The first Head of Household was revealed earlier today during a small live-feed leak and it is none other than Ryan Lochte who has the power! The Olympic swimmer now has the ability to dictate the first week of the game, and it remains to be seen precisely what’s he is going to do with that power. Our feeling, at least based on what we saw today (it was brief), is that he may nominate two women. This early in the game, it’s fairly commonplace for the first HoH to just get rid of people who are obvious consensus choices — since there are more men than women, this makes the women easy choices. It stinks, but don’t be shocked if that happens.
So provided that we see Ryan go this route and try to target the women, what we would anticipate is that he’s going to go after someone like a Natalie Eva Marie or a Kandi Burruss — someone who is capable in the game and a threat to take the title over him. Ryan’s a competitor and we think he’s going to make choices that are fairly cut and dry — we don’t think that we’re going to be seeing something play out here that is altogether complicated. He will, more than likely, just try to go after people that he views to be reasonably obvious threats to his game.
Of course, we only saw a tiny sliver of life in the house and much of it was just about normal, everyday stuff like cookie and talking about the contents of the refrigerator. We don’t know how many of these celebrities are super-aware of Big Brother or its gameplay, so we have to be prepared to be reasonably patient if we want to get some super-great gameplay out of them. They’ll probably start to work their way in that direction, but some may navigate there a little bit faster than others.
