SEAL Team season 2 episode 13 spoilers: Is Sonny’s life in danger?
Yet, for this upcoming January 23 episode entitled “Time to Shine,” we’re going to see Sonny in a rather precarious position. His life is going to be on the line, and he’s not exactly in the safest place in the world to go along with it — think in terms of close to North Korea. It’s not a place where it is easy to rescue someone and it’s going to be hard to extract him from this situation.
If there is still one reason to have hope for him moving forward, it’s this: The people who are going to be out there looking to help. We know that the Bravo Team has been through quite a bit together, so we can only imagine some of the stuff we’re going to be seeing from them moving forward through the end of this season.
Below, CarterMatt has the official SEAL Team season 2 episode 13 synopsis with some more news when it comes to what lies ahead:
“Time to Shine” – Bravo Team desperately works to save Sonny from a life-threatening situation, after he becomes trapped in a submarine torpedo tube during a clandestine mission off the coast of North Korea, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, Jan. 23 (9:01-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We think that there is probably an extra layer or urgency going into this episode just because of where this episode lies within the greater SEAL Team season 2 order. With the show likely taking a lengthy hiatus during the month of February, that does raise the stakes for some of the episodes leading up to the break. We hope within that span of time there are some opportunities to see some exciting events that are different than any other that we’ve seen.
Of course, we do also hope in the process that Sonny is okay — we don’t want to lose any major characters this season! (Or, at least anymore — Alana may not have been a part of the team, but she was still important overall.)
