Dynasty season 2 episode 9 return date: A holiday story ahead
Let’s kick off things here with a reminder that there is one more new episode coming up in December — while tonight was the midseason finale for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, rest assured that there is still some more Dynasty to come. Not only that, but it’s going to be a special holiday-themed episode! Typically with most shows, this is a chance to see some holiday fun and have a rather-nice opportunity for people to celebrate something warm and rather welcoming. Yet, this is Dynasty. This isn’t the sort of show that is going to just give you a gift, serve you shortbread cookies, and then call it a day. The promo below gives you a sense as to some fun that will come in the episode, but there’s also going to be a lot of danger as the Carringtons do their best to square off against a major threat.
Of course, what makes all of this all the more interesting is the fact that it’s all taking place on Christmas Eve. Alas, we don’t think that this is going to be the most wonderful time of the year at all for some of these characters.
Below, The CW offers up the official Dynasty season 2 episode 9 synopsis with some more news on what lies ahead:
‘TIS THE SEASON (FOR A MANHUNT) – As the Carringtons track down a dangerous enemy on Christmas Eve, Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Blake (Grant Show) clash on how to best handle the situation, stirring up unresolved grievances. Meanwhile, Cristal (Ana Brenda Contreras) suspects Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan) may not be telling the whole truth to the authorities, and Kirby (Maddison Brown) is cast out by Anders (Alan Dale) for having an immature reaction to the grave situation at hand. Rafael de la Fuente, Sam Adegoke and Robert Christopher Riley also star. Christopher Fife and Paula Sabbaga wrote the episode, which was directed by Melanie Mayron (#209). Original airdate 12/21/2018.
On the other side of this episode, you’re going to have to wait until January in order to see what’s coming up! Remember first and foremost that this episode is coming in two weeks and, beyond just that, be sure to check out the episode live. This is not a show guaranteed to have a third season in the slightest and with that in mind, getting the word out there and viewership are the only ways in which to ensure that the series finds a way to come back.
