Supernatural season 14 spoilers: The 300th episode story for Castiel

The Supernatural 300th episode is going to be coming up later this season and, by and large, it will be chock full of surprises and fun moments. Think about this show, and also think about the way in which it does like to pay homage to the majority of its fans. They’re going to want to deliver something big for this hour and we certainly think that this episode will bring much of that — and it doesn’t really matter what character you are talking about here.

When it comes to Castiel, the first thing that is absolutely worth noting here is simply that Misha Collins will be around and have a major part to play in this story. As for what it will be, that may be fairly unexpected in its own right.

Speaking in a new interview with TVLine, here is some of what Collins had to say about the story that is coming: “There’s a little bit of time travel that comes into play in the 300th episode, and we’ll see a different version of Cas.”

What does that exactly mean? Well, more than anything it’s a chance for Castiel to play a slightly different version of a character we already know and love — that’s always fun for an actor since you get to weigh out different intentions and facets to a person (or, in this case, an angel). For some reason, whenever we see a story regarding Misha and time-travel at this point, we tend to think a little bit about Timeless and his appearance over there. Both shows are Eric Kripke products, after all, and they have the potential to be fun and brilliantly imaginative.

Anyhow, Supernatural recently had the celebration for the 300th episode and we’re going to get a rather-great opportunity to in order to see all of this play out at some point in the new year. Of course, beyond just that there are many different storylines play out regarding Jack, regarding the aftereffects of Michael’s arrival, and also some of the crazy story-of-the-week plots that we’ve come to know Supernatural for so much over the years. Given that some other milestone episodes of Supernatural have been fantastic, fingers crossed that this one fits the bill, as well.
