Shadowhunters season 3 video: Check out a short new Malec scene!

If you look below, you can see a short, domestic, and fun scene featuring Magnus and Alec. Apparently, it is Alec’s day off, and Magnus is trying to do his part in order to make it special for him. It’s a sweet gesture from him … but then the sneak peek ends after about fifteen seconds. It’s short — yet, isn’t fifteen seconds of Shadowhunters better than no Shadowhunters at all?
This sneak peek was released as a part of Freeform’s new March to the Polls initiative, which is designed to help raise awareness ahead of the midterm elections. We know that a lot of you are reading this article from other places outside of the United States, but for those of you who are located in America and are able to vote, we do hope that you go out and try to hit the polls tomorrow (we voted early!). We understand it may be a time inconvenience and there may be a lot of political pressure around you, but still: Please do your part. One vote can help make a huge difference in deciding the fate of your local government, let alone things on a state and national level. We don’t get political too often here, but we strongly encourage everyone to study the candidates and go out and have your voice heard.
As for Shadowhunters and Malec, the message seems to be clear here: There will be some great Malec content moving forward into the second half of the season. Will there be tests that the two of them are forced to face? Almost certainly, but by the end of the two-hour movie tying together season 3 let’s hope that they have a chance for happiness. They have absolutely been through a lot and deserve many wonderful things coming their way.
