The Flash season 5 episode 5 return date: Rag Doll’s arrival to the scene

Let’s start with the return date: Tuesday, November 13. The CW is taking the night off for the midterm elections, which is probably a smart move. While not all CW viewers may be active watchers of political results, why run the risk? There are plenty of weeks ahead for The Flash to still air installments prior to the finale in May.
As for what’s coming up, let’s just say that the forefront of this episode could be a villain not necessarily named Cicada: Think in terms of Rag Doll. This is a comic character played by former America’s Got Talent contestant and contortionist Troy James, who is going to be able to come out and do a number of things that very few other people can. Odds are, that’s what made him so appealing to producers.

BARRY AND IRIS TEAM UP TO STOP A DANGEROUS META NAMED RAG DOLL – Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) lets something slip about the future that devastates Iris (Candice Patton). In an attempt to distract his wife, Barry (Grant Gustin) asks Iris to team up to stop a new meta, Rag Doll (guest star Troy James). Meanwhile, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) learns something about her father. Phil Chipera directed the episode written by Thomas Pound & Sterling Gates (#505). Original airdate 11/13/2018.
While the story of Caitlin’s father is being extremely slow-played, let’s still make this clear: We’re very much excited to see what’s coming.
