Good Trouble premiere date revealed; the future for Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez
Today, the network announced that the upcoming spin-off series for The Fosters is going to be premiering come Tuesday, January 8. This series is going to mark the evolution in the lives of Callie and Mariana, who are set to head to Los Angeles in order to kick off the next phase of their lives. For Callie, she’s going to be looking to work under a conservative judge with very different views from her own. Meanwhile, For Mariana, she’s going to be kicking off a career in the hyper-competitive world of tech. We imagine that both characters are going to have their fair share of victories, but at the same time, there will likely be plenty of failures, as well.
In addition to the premiere date, Freeform also just unveiled their first sneak peek for the spin-off’s premiere episode, which is going to feature these two characters arriving at the Coterie, the new place that they could call home. However, upon arriving they are going to realize that things are not precisely as they thought. The Coterie was a little bit of a mess, and it may take some time for it to feel like home. This is, after all, definitely not the same world that these two experienced on The Fosters with Stef and Lena. Yet, it may feel like a home soon enough. They are going to make some new friends there and have an opportunity to further along their careers and get better. Of course, there will also be some new relationships, given that these two characters are young women who are going to meet new people and explore dating. That’s just the phase of their lives that they are in at the moment!
We imagine that even more news on Good Trouble will be available in due time, so we advise you to stay tuned — after all, we will have some more news as soon as it is available.
