Supernatural season 14 episode 2: Is Dean found, and how evil is Nick?
Let’s start here with the story of Nick, mostly because this man was trying to come to terms with the aftereffects of Lucifer. As it turns out, maybe Nick isn’t all that different rom Lucifer, after all, given that there were some violent tendencies that came about for him in the midst of his search for justice. Nick seemingly murdered Arty with a hammer, which does raise a whole lot of questions now in regards to some of what he’s going to do next. Oh, and did we mention that it was Nick who seemingly murdered his family? Basically, there’s a reason that Lucifer chose this vessel — he was already horrible in the first place.

As for some of the stuff that was going down with Sam, we saw him continue along his search for Dean … which eventually did lead to an emotional discovery. In the midst of the crazy journey, Sam, alongside Bobby and Mary, ended up discovering Michael … or was it really Dean? He presented himself as Dean, but almost immediately after that we had a serious eye-roll or two, thinking that there was no way this could be true and that the writers were just trying to somehow punk us with this. It just felt too good to be true that the writers would be giving us Dean so soon.
Still, Dean told Sam and the others that Michael “just left,” but he didn’t quite know or understand why. As for whether or not we can really trust this Dean, that’s a question for next week.
