NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 4 preview: A big Lasalle story and more

NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 4 will be coming onto CBS on October 16, and there are a few things to be excited about. For starters, LeVar Burton is directing this episode; beyond just that, this is an episode that will finally offer up some more insight as to what’s going on with Lasalle’s family’s company. This is a storyline that was setup at the end of last season with the death of his father, and with that, we had a number of different questions regarding when they were going to bring this back up again. For a brief period of time, we were worried that the character was going to be written out. Thankfully, that did not happen.

“Legacy” – After a petty officer is found murdered under a shrimping boat, the NCIS investigation uncovers a conspiracy in the tight-knit local fishing community. Also, Lasalle awaits the final results of the tax fraud investigation into his family’s company, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Oct. 16 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The episode is directed by LeVar Burton.

One other cool thing worth noting leading into this episode is this: The 100th episode is right around the corner. Whatever happens here is going to lead into that in some way, even if there is no direct connection between the two. Milestone episodes are the time in which to get nostalgic and celebrate, at least to a certain extent, the journey that got you to this point in the first place. This is a show that has told a lot of different stories, but this one coming up may be even more special than ever.
